We believe that the curriculum used throughout the centre should reflect their philosophy and that is why we always value and respect children’s voices.
At Kid’n Around we provide high quality, play-based early childhood education in a caring and supportive environment. We partner with families to nurture each child’s unique strengths, ensuring every child is welcomed, included, challenged, and supported in their learning and development. Our goal as educators is to enrich children’s learning by providing your children with a stimulating educational program.
Like Vygotsky we believe the learning process is measured through social interactions. We allow children to investigate and discover at their own pace, constructing their own knowledge. As educators, we facilitate,respond to, and extend the children’s strengths and interests. This process is directed by children’s voices and natural curiosities in their world. By empowering children to have a voice, they become effective communicators and develop their confidence.
We provide a tailored high-quality play-based program that extends on a child’s interests, skills and abilities. We understand that children lean through play, exploration of their environment and through the relationships they form with others. When children play, they are showing what they have learned and what they are trying to understand.
