Allergy Aware Policy
At Kid’n Around we are an ‘allergy aware’ centre which recognises that not all allergens can be keep away from the centre, although we do have risk minimisation strategies to ensure these allergens do not come into our learning environments.
We have some children enrolled who are anaphylactic. We request you DO NOT send any nut products in your child’s lunchbox.
Upon enrolment food suggestions are supplied to families with ideas of healthy snacks through our Munch and Move pages. Suggestions include wholemeal sandwiches, sushi, and rice cakes. For more information, please visit our Nutrition page which has direct links to the Munch and Move fact sheets
